In 2008 several rivers in the range were floated that were likely never floated before. These are:
Rio Carichi-Agua Caliente (Conchos drainage)
Rio Nonoava (Conchos drainage)
Rio Loera (Fuerte drainage)
Rio Santiago-Ramos (Nazas drainage)
Rio Mezquitic-Bolaños (Grande de Santiago drainage)
