Second Annual Race on the Río Alseseca

The second annual Alseseca Race was held on January 8-10, 2010.  The weather looked cold and foggy as it often gets around Tlapacoyan.  There is a very good video of the race.  The video shows Tlapacoyan, footage of some of the rapids and racers, an interview with Tom McEwan, the award ceremony and dancing, and a conservation message. There was no award ceremony when I led the first descent but it took us two days.  These competitors took a lot less time.
