There is a new road to Zapotitlán which allows a shuttle of 24 miles to Puente Filo.  I believe the road is just past Puente Tablazos on Highway 131.  This road crosses the road run of the Alseseca on a dirt road over a cement bridge.  It is both shorter and better than the road from Altotonga.
