On my last trip I met Xavier Hernandez who told me about a new place he was building near Damián Cardova and the Río Ojo Frio.  He recently notified me that the Sierra Verde village is finished.  It is an eco-resort which means that it aims to be part of the naturaleza without electricity, telephone or hot water.  For those that are tired of camping but do not want to stay in a city hotel, this is an option that is convenient to many of the kayak runs in the Huasteca Potosiní.
