Can anyone recommend an outfitter who can provide gear and shuttle for cheap in the Rio Micos area? Also, how's the water looking for this Dec?

There are some other posts about outfitters on this same board and perhaps others will reply privately or publicly with additional information.

As far as water, the local paper today mentioned "la intensa lluvia que se registró la madrugada de ayer."  The flooding started in early June and there have been reports of flooding off and on ever since.  The rivers typically are dropping this time of year but this year the rains seem to keep coming.  So if you are worried about having enough water I do not think that will be a problem.  By December the rains should have stopped and the rivers should be at reasonable levels.  But they may be higher than normal for that time of year.

Hey guys we have a camping area and huts right after Micos waterfalls, you can start paddling at the top of the waterfalls and you will finish your shuttle right on our place, you dont even need a shuttle or a driver for Micos. The waterfalls today have a good level and for December is gonna be great! give us an email and we will provide you all information needed.
