Rio La Venta

I did the Rio La Venta several years ago (early March of 2000?) and I just wanted to let everyone know that you need to get permission from the Presidente in Ocozocuautla before putting on the river, or at least you did when we boated it.

We also took public transportation (bus) from Tuxtla Gutierrez to the Las Flores bridge where we put in, so we didn't have to leave vehicles at the put-in. The water was a little low from the bridge to Cascada El Aguacero.
